Kevin W. Cloe

Kevin Cloe is the president of Midkiff, Muncie & Ross PC. Kevin has been practicing workers’ compensation defense for nearly 25 years, representing all types of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. He is involved in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense, from direct counseling of employers on safety rules and structuring, to representation before the Commission on contested claims, insurance coverage matters, and subrogation.
Kevin has been recognized for over a decade in The Best Lawyers in America, and is consistently listed as a Virginia Super Lawyer in workers’ compensation. In 2021, he was named a “Go To” Lawyer in workers’ compensation defense by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
Kevin has served as the chair and vice-chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the VADA and has spoken at VWC seminars, Inn of Court seminars, VTLA, and VADA on workers’ compensation matters. Kevin also routinely conducts adjuster training with insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys time with his wife and their two children. A guitarist, he also plays regularly in a band, and admits to being somewhat obsessed with sandwiches and craft beer.
