Firm Mourns Passing of Founder Charles Midkiff

Attorneys, paralegals, and staff at MM&R are mourning the loss of founder Charles F. (Chuck) Midkiff, who passed away on November 29.
Mr. Midkiff founded MM&R in 1987, building it from a small team to over 30 attorneys practicing from multiple offices in the Mid-Atlantic.

For nearly 30 years, Mr. Midkiff was a lobbyist for business and insurance interests before the Virginia General Assembly. Mr. Midkiff’s knowledge of Virginia workers’ compensation law and skill in defense litigation were exemplary. Well-known and respected among peers in the legal community, Mr. Midkiff was considered a national, regional, and local expert in his field.
